Is this a myth or is it really possible to lose up to 5 kg in 2 weeks? Do you want to get rid of excess pounds and you need a fast solution? The answer to the first question is, of course, YES, and we are giving you the recipe.

Specialized exercise program

If you want to lose overweight fast there are a couple of rules to follow.

First, you exercising must include cardio. Cardio is amazing for weight loss and fat burn. It helps reduce calories and has amazing results when it comes to your health. Many people work very long hours at the office and do not take care of their diet and exercising routine. If you are one of them, you should know that heart diseases and diabetes are your number one enemy. By including cardio in your workout, you are reducing the risk of heart attack, high cholesterol, diabetes and high blood pressure.

Secondly, you must exercise at least 3 times per week. This means a full 45 minutes workout. For better results, you may do some short exercises on the other days during the week, such as a long walk, yoga, or even some more intense exercises. These workouts should last for at least 20 minutes.

Thirdly, add some other exercises to your routine. Cardio isn’t everything and if you do only cardio you will get bored really soon. What we like doing is combine cardio with martial arts, like karate and taekwondo, same as with kickboxing. This way you are burning calories, keeping the workout interesting and toning your body.

Specialized nutrition program

Forget about junk food and say hello to healthy fats and food reach in protein! Some groceries are your friend on this path to the perfect weight, and other are the enemies. Here we are giving you a short list of some of the groceries that have to be part of your meals during these 2 weeks:

  • Whole-grain bread or cereal,
  • Brown rice,
  • Fat-free milk,
  • Liquid egg whites,
  • Smoked salmon,
  • Chicken meet,
  • Lemons,
  • Baby carrots,
  • Cucumbers,
  • Tomatoes,
  • Lettuce,
  • Pineapples, fresh berries, kiwi, etc.

Foods for you to avoid are any snacks, baked goods, and high-fat desserts. Also, try to avoid more than one cup of coffee a day, you can drink green tea instead.

Get rid of water weight

Your body stores glycogen, which is a kind of carbohydrate in your muscles and liver. If you want to lose water weight, you should reduce the glycogen. For each gram of glycogen, there are 4 grams of water stored in the body. If you reduce glycogen, you might be able to lose an extra 3 kg in 2 weeks.

The way to do this is to decrease the consumption of carbohydrates. This relates to the healthy diet we just wrote about. You should drink plenty of water, optimal 2l of water per day. Also, eat less salt. This way is not the permanent one. This is just an addition to your exercise and diet routine. Your glycogen stores will get filled again. Anyway, there are a lot of reasons for you to drink a lot of water during the day and to decrease eating salty food, so these are good habits for your organism.
